Front upper strut tie-bars

The Neuspeed Upper Front Strut Tie-Bar is a must for all cars from street to all-out competition. The Neupeed bar takes the roll and twist out of the sheet-metal tub frame - an inherently weak spot. Unlike single-bolt designs, which flex and pivot, the Neuspeed bar, with its solid mounting, is very rigid, making steering quicker and more responsive to your touch. You will feel the difference in handling! This bar is especially important if you change to larger tires. Our light-weight twin-tube design easily bolts to the strut towers, a strong point on each side of the body, to provide maximum performance with the greatest strength. All Neuspeed bars are made from heavy-wall steel tubing, aircraft heliarc welded to steel mounting plates, and feature a wet-look gloss black powder-coat finish. We now offer polished Neuspeed upper strut tie-bars. These new bars are chrome plated to a mirror finish. Neuspeed bars install in minutes on most applications by bolting to the factory strut/tower retaining studs or bolts. Some VW applications may require drilling four holes by marking the self-aligned Strut Tie-Bar and installing special aircraft threaded Nutserts with tool provided.

Each Nutsert withstands over 800-lbs pull and provides the greatest strength to tie in the front body panels. Neuspeed Strut Tie-Bars fit with all standard factory equipment, and all service work is performed in the normal manner. Neuspeed was the first . . . and is by far the best Strut Tie-Bar on the market . . . that works!

Front lower tie-bars

Another innovation from Neuspeed is the Lower Tie-Bar. On Acura and Honda applications, this tie-bar eliminates the flexing in the low-mounted rear control arms to improve stability and handling.

By bridging the control arm sheet metal, it strengthens the suspension at a weak point and completes the suspension system. Our new, innovative Lower Front Tie-Bar eliminates flexing at the lower control arm chassis pick-up points. On early VW suspension systems, the Neuspeed Lower Tie-Bar ties the lower sheet metal together for improved handling and stability. These bars are made from either 6061 T-6 aluminum or heavy-wall steel tubing, and install in minutes by utilizing special grade 10.9 mounting bolts and aerospace-quality ball-joint ends. The aluminum bars feature a mirror-like polished aluminum and the steel bars are available in a high-gloss black powder coating.

Rear upper tie-bars

Once again, the crew at Neuspeed offers a product that is superior to all others on the market. Neuspeed originated the Rear Tie-Bar concept to tie in the rear part of the tub. The Neuspeed bars for Acura and Honda are strong and light-weight, and feature heliarc-welded steel mount twin-bolt design that will not twist or flex. The cross bar is made from specially heat-treated 6061 T-6 aluminum and is available in either a baked powder coat gloss black finish or a mirror-like polish, depending on the application. The VW bar was in testing and development for over a year on various street and race vehicles, being fine-tuned to perfection. Neuspeed upper rear tie-bars are easy to install. The main cross-bar spans the rear shock towers, ties in the floor pan, and then triangulates to the bumper bolts with an adjustable ball-joint bar. Neuspeed's race car designed bars minimize understeer due to less chassis flex and improves stability during corner braking. You will feel the difference in handling, and it is especially important when using larger wheels and tires. Our special CNC generated brackets are heliarced onto a race quality mount that bolts to the rear shock tower and finished in a baked powder-coat gloss black finish.
